If you have your Bible, turn with me there once more, a chapter that we have been studying since Easter Sunday, several weeks back.  The central theme of this chapter is the resurrection, both of Jesus Christ and the believer who is united to Him through faith.  Within the chapter, Paul makes the point that the gospel is a resurrection gospel, which means we possess resurrection hope.  That Christ is risen means we have a resurrection guarantee, which then provides us with some resurrection incentives as we live our lives now.  Paul then deals with the resurrection body, and he answers a couple of questions that are raised in verse 35, “How are the dead raised?  With what kind of body do they come?”  He then explains how our resurrection body will be an ‘upgrade’ from the one we currently have now.  A final thing that we will consider as we finish our study of the chapter is that through Christ we have resurrection victory.
