A Vision For Ministry

Where is God leading us—and what kind of church are we becoming?

Looking at the story of Nehemiah, we see that God-given vision begins with a burden, is bathed in prayer, sees beyond what is to what can be, becomes a shared responsibility, and ultimately believes God for what only He can do.

At Hopewell, our mission remains simple: Leading People to Follow Christ. And as we look toward the future, our vision is to become a multiplying church where we:

REACH people with the gospel

GROW together as disciples of Jesus

SEND believers to impact the world.

That means pursuing deeper spiritual growth, greater urgency in reaching those far from Christ, intentional investment in the next generation, and a commitment to developing and sending people for Kingdom impact. The question isn't simply, “How large can Hopewell become?” but “How much Kingdom impact can God produce through Hopewell?”

We don't know exactly what the future holds, but we know the direction: Reach. Grow. Send. And we move forward depending not on our own strength, resources, or abilities, but on God to accomplish what only He can do.
